چکیده
The use of endurance regimens could be improved by defining their respective effectiveness on aerobic fitness and brain health that remains controversial. We aimed at comparing work-matched high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with moderate-intensity continuous (MICT) performance muscular plasticity markers in healthy rats. Cognitive functions were also investigated following the 8-week training. Rats performed incremental exercise test behavioural tests before after day 1 (D1), D15, D29 D57. Key cerebral assessed Western blot quantitative polymerase chain reaction to provide information function related angiogenesis, metabolism neurotrophin activity D59. Muscular protein levels involved angiogenesis measured both triceps brachii soleus muscles. HIIT induced superior improvement compared MICT, as indicated enhancement speed associated lactate threshold (SLT) maximal (Smax). In muscle, upregulated well myokines neuroplasticity. Moreover, key increased hippocampus 8 weeks HIIT, without improving cognitive functions. These findings might contribute define physical guidelines for maintaining highlighting promising role when using SLT distinguishing low running from high speed. Further studies are required confirm these effects exploring synaptic neurogenesis mechanisms intensity is standardized individualized.

متن کاملThe Effects of High Intensity Interval Training vs Steady State Training on Aerobic and Anaerobic Capacity.
UNLABELLED High intensity interval training (HIIT) has become an increasingly popular form of exercise due to its potentially large effects on exercise capacity and small time requirement. This study compared the effects of two HIIT protocols vs steady-state training on aerobic and anaerobic capacity following 8-weeks of training. Fifty-five untrained college-aged subjects were randomly assigne...

AIM To determine the impact of low volume high-intensity interval training (LVHIIT) and continuous low to moderate-intensity exercise training (CLMIT) on cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk and health outcomes in cancer survivors. METHODS Sedentary cancer survivors (n = 75, aged 51 ± 12 year) within 24 months of diagnosis, were randomised into three groups for 12 wk of LVHIIT (n = 25), CLMIT (n...

Background: the adipose tissue produces and releases peptides that contribute to various processes in body, including insulin resistance. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of eight weeks of continuous aerobic training and high intensity interval training on Resistin and insulin levels and insulin resistance in type 2 diabetic male wistar rats. Methods: Twenty-four Wistar rats...
